New Horizons in Seattle provides housing for young adults ages 18–25, uniquely allowing them to stay with their pets. Believing every young person deserves safety, support, and connection, New Horizons works to ensure youth homelessness is rare, brief, and one-time.
On August 8th, My Dog Is My Home will be co-hosting an Open House at New Horizons in Seattle. We would like to invite representatives of human and animal services to join us to learn more about their innovative approach and build connections within a network of providers.
You will hear:
● Insights from touring a pet-inclusive shelter,
● Practical knowledge on co-sheltering policies, and
● The voices of residents whose lives have been impacted by New Horizons' work.
